G-2000 Wedge Barrier

The Gibraltar G-2000 M50 P1 Wedge Barrier is a shallow foundation wedge barrier that meets or exceeds all vehicle barrier standards set forth by both the US Department of Defense (DOD) and US Department of State (DOS). The barrier is certified from 8'-0" true blocking width to 14'-6" true blocking width with interpolation. The wedge barrier is offered in an electric version and hydraulic version. The electric G-2000 Wedge Barrier received an ASIS Accolade for "Security's Best Award" at the 2016 ASIS International 62nd Annual Seminar and Exhibits. The electric barrier is offered in 3HP and 5HP IP68 rated stainless motors as a standard offering. The barriers are capable of <2 second EFO and <1.5 second EFO respectively. Our barrier also does not rely on springs, pneumetics or any other assist to deploy the barrier. These items are another wear item that must be maintained and we eliminated them from the unit. Gibraltar's G-2000 electric wedge barrier has undergone rigorous cycle testing by a 3rd party engineering firm to meet the DOS duty cycle requirements. The electric wedge barrier has also been cycled completely immersed under water for 1,200+ complete up/down cycles. Due to the design of the frame and foundation it allows for very high axle loads to cross over the barrier if necessary. The barrier comes standard with bi-directional LEDs that are visible from both sides of the barrier. The G-2000 Wedge Barrier is the most reliable wedge barrier available on the market place.
