The PDT10080SMF shallow mount bollard (previously named the K12 Shallow Mount Bollard) is tested and certified to ASTM’s F2656-07 standard, obtaining an M50/P2 anti-ram rating, while requiring only 12” of foundation depth. Calpipe Security designed and tested the PDT10080SMF shallow mount bollard as a system of three (3) bollards, however the system can be specified and installed to include more than the minimum of three (3). The shallow 12” depth foundation requires no rebar, only welded wire mesh (WWM) and the bollards’ sub-grade beam frame easily bolts together, saving installation time and costs. Designed for applications where traditional trench foundations are prohibitive, this system can be easily installed while maintaining a high level of security.
