The PDT8080SMR shallow mount removable bollard is tested and certified to ASTM’s F2656-07 standard, obtaining an M30/P2 anti-ram rating, while requiring only 12” of foundation depth. One of the very few tested and certified removable bollard options available, the PDT8080SMR is intended to be specified in spaces were infrequent authorized vehicular access is required. The PDT8080SMR shallow mount bollard was designed and tested as a system of three (3) bollards, however the system can be specified and installed to include more than the minimum of three (3). The shallow 12” depth foundation requires no rebar, only welded wire mesh (WWM), saving installation time and costs. Designed for applications where traditional trench foundations are prohibitive, this system can be easily installed while maintaining a high level of security.
