The PDT10080SML takes the certified and DoD listed PDT10080SMF (previously named the K12 Shallow Mount Bollard) and adds an additional level of safety and aesthetics by housing a light (LED) assembly beneath a decorative cover. The PDT10080SMF housed within the decorative light and cover is strictly manufactured from carbon steel and finished with a zinc rich primer powder coated though the decorative cover can be manufactured from either Stainless Steel with a horizontal #4 brushed finish or from Galvannealed Steel, finished with the powder coat of your choosing. The PDT10080SMF shallow mount bollard is tested and certified to ASTM’s F2656-07 standard, obtaining an M50/P2 anti-ram rating, while requiring only 12” of foundation depth. The 12” foundation requires no rebar, only welded wire mesh and the bollards’ sub-grade beam frame easily bolts together, saving installation time and costs. Designed for applications where traditional trench foundations are prohibitive, this system can be easily installed while maintaining a high level of security.
