Amidon Shield//360 Ballistics is a North Carolina based maker of a proprietary Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) customized for use in walls, modules, bomb shelters and many other security installations.
Its patented innovative formula offers a lighter weight, more even, and consistent distribution of protective qualities than comparable products. It is designed to protect against ballistic projectiles, support multiple story construction, and to be versatile enough to accommodate an infinite variety of designs. Amidon Shield products have certified ballistic stopping power of UL-752 Level 10 and a compressive weight of 3,000 PSI. Unlike other UHPC products, its consistent distribution throughout any form offers the same high performance anywhere in the structure – the same protection from top to bottom. It is also 30% lighter than comparable products which means lower shipping costs on pre-cast forms.
