Blast Calculator
Instantly calculate blast loads with our FREE tool
This tool is developed to calculate blast-wave parameters of a hemispherical free-field explosion, based on the Kingery-Bulmash empirical equations, as included in the UFC 3-340-02 Structures To Resist The Effects Of Accidental Explosions, Change 2 (12-05-2008). The calculator should not be used for applications requiring the calculation of blast-wave parameters for a spherical burst in the air. Blast wave parameters are calculated based on a TNT charge weight and modified by specific pressure and impulse factors when other explosive types are used.
