The Shield model VPCB-M50 crash rated beam is US Department of State K12; 15,000lbs, 30mph, less than 1m penetration (equivalent to ASTM F2656 07 M50 P1 certified; 15,000lbs, 50mph, less than 1m penetration). The VPCB-M50 standard assembly consists of a bolster stanchions, lifting operator, aluminum arm (optional fabricated gate on the arm). The system is designed for quick smooth operation, low maintenance, and long life. The VPCB-M50 is available with clear opening widths from 10 to 17 feet. The VPCB-M50 is an electro-mechanical system; no hydraulics. In the event of a power failure, the system immediately reverts to backup battery operations. If needed, the system can easily be operated manually without the use of tools.
